On May 17th, Maoming Port Group was approved to establish formally. Maoming administrative bureau for industry and commerce issued the certificate. At the same time, the parent company Maoming Port Co., Ltd was renamed to be Maoming Port Group Co., Ltd
Maoming Port Group is parentsubsidiary system connected by capital. In the group, the registered capital of parent company is RMB1.665 billion, of 11 whollyowned subsidiaries is RMB 235.28million. There are some other joint venture subsidiaries. At present, the group total assets of the group overpass 2 billion.
The main business area of Maoming Port Group including construction and management of the port land and coastline, handling of the port containers and large bulk cargo, pilotage, towage of ship, cargo handling, lightering, storage, cargo agent, land transportation and so on.
The establishment of Maoming Port Group means the resources integration has been completed basically. The group company will enter into a new develop stage to accelerate constructing the three harbor district to realize the strategic target of being a first-class international energy port.
